- Typical uses: bushings, bearings, gears, rollers, wear strips, insulators.
- High toughness and abrasion resistance; self-lubricating grades (oil-filled) reduce friction.
- Absorbs moisture (up to ~2.5% at saturation) — parts grow and lose stiffness; allow for it on close-tolerance work.
